Au fost anunțate nominalizările pentru Gala Oscar cu numărul 96! “Oppenheimer” conduce detașat, cu 13 nominalizări, find urmat de „Poor Things”, cu 11, „Killers of the Flower Moon”, cu 10, şi „Barbie”, cu opt nominalizări.
Surpriza vine de la faptul că filmul care a câștigat Marele premiu de la Cannes și Globul de Aur pentru film străin, „Anatomy of a Fall”(Franța), nu se află pe lista nominalizaților la acestă categorie. În schimb are cinci nominalizări la cele mai importante trofee: Cel mai bun film, cea maibună regie, scenariu original și rol principal masculin, respectiv, rol principal feminin.
Decernarea premiilor Oscar din 2024 va avea loc pe 10 martie.
